Thanks to all who participated in the 16th annual R. Stephen Pace Memorial Tournament this year. The outing, held once again at Skybrook, was a celebration of the building industry, partnerships, and most importantly the Boy Scout Troop 118 of St. Stephen United Methodist Church, started and led by Stephen Pace for more than 40 years.
Everyone who took part in the event was part of the winning team. We are thrilled to share that we raised over $60,000 via the tourney this year, bringing our total monies raised through the years to in excess of $500,000. The monies raised allow young scouts of all means and backgrounds to participate in Troop 118’s program, nurturing their leadership skills and character via special projects, community projects, and outdoor camping trips.
We cannot thank enough the many sponsors, partners, and others who have made participating in this event a regular part of their calendar each year. Who would believe that an event that started with a few foursomes in 2011 would evolve to what it is today, a total of 144 golfers participating with dozens of other Pace employees and partners supporting their efforts.
