Go Team Alex!

Go Team Alex!

This week, we support a cause that is near and dear to our family, the Energy For Life Walkathon for the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.

On Saturday, October 12, 2013, we'll participate in the Charlotte Energy for Life Walkathon at Freedom Park in support of Team Alex  and the Alex Crisp Foundation.

The Alex Crisp Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded by the Pace family in honor of Alex Crisp, grandson of Stephen and nephew of Brian, who has mitochondrial disease. The organization aims to improve the lives of those afflicted or impacted by all stages of mitochondrial disorders. Through this organization we also support Mity Riders (Equine therapy riding in Weddington), Paws4People, and UMDF.

We thank our many supporters and are proud to report that we have surpassed our team fundraising goal for this weekend's walkathon, raising $4425 for UMDF!
